East Cowes Sailing Club Racing with East Cowes Sailing Club
Racing takes place off the Shrape, with Courses in the central section of the Solent. During the season there are three series run on a Thursday Evening, racing starting from 18.30. in addition there is an Sunday Brunch series, during September and October, starting at 11.00.
We welcome entries from other Clubs as well as our own members, and try to provide good enjoyable racing and actively encourage many types of monohull boats.
Handicaps are largely but not exclusively based on the Portsmouth yardstick combined with many years of data which allow fine tuning of handicaps for the local area and conditions.
Prize giving takes place in late October.
