A big thank you to Jon Knott and his team, for the training on how to correctly use the clubs defibrillator. Jon is a club member and was for many years an ambulance professional at the highest level. The training was held in the club house on the 2 July 2022 and was well attended. Members were notified by email and the course was free. The training was on how go perform CPR and when and how to use the defibrillator. The course also covered how to react to a person suffering from choking and also and stings and bites. Everyone came away with the useful knowledge that if called upon they could respond. Jon has said that hopefully he will hold further courses on this and other aspects of first aid.
