First of all i would like to thank everyone who attended our first social event of the year being the quiz night that was held on Wednesday the 19th of January. The Social committee couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the 2022 social calendar, All who were involved had a fantastic evening with drinks, nibbles, music and of course some challenging questions put together by the wonderful Patti Urry and myself. The competition was extremely close which ended up with the team “Across The Water” in first place with 22 points taking the prize of 4 bottles of wine, The team participants were all dual members of both CCYC and ECSC Lisa an Roger Guy and Emma and Craig Dymock of which was their first time visiting the club and fully enjoyed themselves, In second place was the “Sharks” with 21 points, 3rd place was taken by 4 teams being “Castle ST Mob”, “Silver Bird”, “The Fish ‘N’ Chips” and “The Saga Louts” all with 20 points, In 4th place was “Jolly G’s” with 18 points, In 5th place was “The Race Box” with 16 points and in 6th place was “Chaos” with 14 points.
